DAY TO DAY LIVING (D2DL)

New Horizons operates a D2DL centre based program in Gosford. The centre is open Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 4.00 pm. D2DL is part of a continuum of mental health services that operate from the same location in Gosford. This service is mostly free to participants except for the cost of some activities. Other Gosford services include HASI, PHAMS, Personal Support Program and Job Network.

The target group is people with:

- A mental illness

- Adults over 16 years

The services provided are:

- Training in the use of computers,cooking etc

- Centre based recreation and activities

- External outings

- Assisting participants to combat isolation

- Assisting participants to become more independent
