Breaking barriers

Having a job is fundamental to living a meaningful, rewarding and independent life.

A career is something most people participate in, some dedicate their lives to, and many take for granted.

People with disability or mental illness experience a whole range of barriers to entering the workforce. From finding the right job, to experiencing stigma and judgement. And yet most still would like a career.

We believe that everyone has a talent, and those who want to work should be supported to find and maintain suitable employment.

That's why we directly employ over one hundred of people with a disability and provide training, skills development and a range of other assistance for thousands of people with disability who seek employment in the open job market.

For over 30 years our goal has been to increase the value status of people with disability. At the most basic level this means valuing the contribution that people with disability can make to our society.
